The error “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE” is mainly due to the network connection. It can also happen when the installed extension tries to interfere with the web pages that you are trying to access. Step 1: On the search bar, type “firewall”.

Method 8: Change DNS to Google DNS

The public DNS of Google is maintained and owned by Google. It can provide a domain name for any internet host. You will have to change it manually to have a quick and secure connection. You can follow these steps for the same.

Step 1: On your computer, right-click on the Windows icon.

Step 2: Select “Network Connections.” You can even go to “Settings” and select “Network and Internet.

When you enable VPN, Chrome can come up with the error “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE.” VPN tends to affect the transmitted data. To fix the issue, you will have to disable VPN.
