1. On Android Device

Step 1: Open Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets on your Android device.

Step 2: Tap on the three buttons for “More” next to the file for deletion.

2. On Computer

Step 1: Launch Google Docs, Slides, or Sheet on your computer.

All the removed files will be in the folder trash. By emptying Trash, you will be able to permanently delete any file on Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets apps. When you delete the file, the shared file will be lost. However, you can still give access to others to view the file by giving ownership.

Recover A File From Trash

The steps for recovering a file from the trash are the same for both Android as well as iOS devices.

Step 1: Open Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides.

Step 2: Tap on the Menu icon by clicking on the three lines on the upper left side.

Step 3: Select “Trash.”

Step 4: Tap on the option “More” which is next to the file that you would like to restore.

Step 2: Go to the option “Menu” which is on the upper left part of the window.

Step 3: Hit on “Trash.”

Step 4: Tap on the option “More” which is next to the file that you are looking to delete permanently.

How To Remove Access From A Single File?

Step 1: Launch Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets.

Step 2: Select the file or folder.

Step 3: Click on the icon “Share” which is at the top.

Step 4: Hit on the option “Advanced” located at the bottom right.

Step 5: Click the mark “X” for the person you want to remove access.

Step 6: Hit on “Save changes.”

Step 2: Go for a global search.

Step 3: Highlight the first file and select all the files. You can do it by holding the Shift key and moving the arrow key down to highlight the documents.
